Casa del Agua in Marmolejo, a boutique hotel, is located near the town's famous medicinal water spa and next to the Mayte Spínola Museum of Contemporary Art. This ten-room hotel features a blue and white décor, imbued with elegance and good taste, reflecting its motto "The path to sustainable health." Painter and entrepreneur Mayte Spínola acquired the house that belonged to the Marquises of Albayda, and previously to the doctor Perales, to transform it into a hotel in Marmolejo, a town of more than six thousand inhabitants.

This charming place features a beautiful Andalusian courtyard, in the Cordoban style, adorned with a 19th-century pillar over a Roman well and a basin-cum-pool with three jets of water falling from tiles with masks. The sound of the water mingles with refreshing music, while jasmine and geraniums provide greenery alongside bay leaves, palmettos, and a generous lemon tree. Twenty tables allow visitors to enjoy breakfast or relax outdoors. The delicately carved wrought ironwork in the wall of Santa María de la Cabeza, patron saint of Sierra Morena and the hunters, dominates the setting, adding a final touch of beauty to the ambiance.
