February 28th is Andalusia Day, commemorating the 1980 referendum that granted full autonomy to the Andalusian community. In Marmolejo's schools, this holiday is celebrated by singing the Andalusian anthem and enjoying a traditional breakfast of bread with olive oil, tomato, and olives. Additionally, at the Virgen de la Cabeza Secondary School, the popular Olivo Music event is held, where students showcase their artistic talents to commemorate this special date.
